Department of Commerce

The Department of Commerce was established in the year 1982. The Department has two courses at the undergraduate level and one course at the post graduation level. The degree course B.Com was introduced in 1998. Our department was fortunate enough to start two new courses B.B.A and M.Com in the year 2013.

Highlights:

The students of B.Com are always in the frontline of academic & cultural activities. Many students of Commerce where union leaders in the last 2 decades. In cultural activities our students had secured 1st and 2nd places in Calicut University Arts Festival in the past few years. Department is providing extra learning resources to the students by a library for commerce students. Class PTA's are convened and marks of students are given to their parents. There is a close contact between parents and teachers.
